In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka started out his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by formulating basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. Fantastic!

My son loves to run so what better jogger to buy than the gel-kayanos. I have purchased many other different brands but they don’t compare to these. My 10 year old son is very fussy and fashion conscious so when he saw these and tried them on, he was absolutely stoked with the look, feel and the fact they are so light weight. Couldn’t be happier.

Love these shoes

Kayanos are the without doubt the best running shoes around, and this new version for the kids is a winner. As usual, the quality is second to none, and the colourway is so groovy – my 9 year old loves them. These shoes are almost double the price in Australia. Thanks Amazon!
